Elliptic gear flowmeter has high accuracy and is suitable for measuring the flow rate of high viscosity medium, but it is not suitable for the fluid containing solid particles. If the liquid medium is measured with gas, it will also cause measurement error.  Usually measuring resin flow meter accuracy up to 0.5 level, is a more accurate flow meter, with high measurement accuracy, small impact of liquid viscosity, no need to install straight pipe section before the table, widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and other oil and high viscosity media cumulative flow measurement.

Installation instructions for diesel flow Meter:

Elliptical gear flowmeter should be cleaned before installation. If the liquid contains solid particles, a filter must be installed in the upstream of the pipeline; Heavy oil flowmeter has no requirement for straight pipe section. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

1. The installation direction of the instrument should be the same as the direction of the arrow shown on the instrument shell and the direction of the liquid, and the installation position should be noted to facilitate reading.

 

2. The instrument should be installed at room temperature as far as possible. Do not install it in harmful gas and strong heat radiation, which may damage part of the instrument counter.

 

3. The elliptical gear should be installed in a horizontal position as far as possible, and the instant dial should be installed in a vertical position (the indexing "0" should be above, in order to reduce the friction between the two planes of the elliptical gear and the shell, and reduce the wear of parts.

 

4. The instrument is installed at the output end of the pump, if installed at the suction end, the pressure loss of the instrument filter increases the suction negative pressure of the pump, and the liquid outflow at the pump shaft also causes the error of the instrument to increase. The flange of the suction end of the pump should also prevent air leakage, otherwise it will also cause the error of the instrument to increase.

 

5. The filter should be installed in front of the instrument to prevent particles larger than 0.2 mm from passing through to prevent the instrument from being blocked by particles. The filter should be easy to clean.

 

6. Install the reverse valve before the instrument, so that the pipeline liquid can only flow one-way, to prevent damage to the counter.

 

7. The instrument is recommended as shown in the figure, with bypass and valve, which can be installed in horizontal and vertical or other directions, top-down, bottom-up, from left to right, from right to left.
